When women sit in circle a particular magic happens where each persons presence forms a part of the container of love, trust and nurture within which each one is held.
In this context it is possible to open up deeply to one's issues, needs and stories in a way that each person's contribution accumulates towards a great wisdom that goes through and beyond the personal to create a perspective for seeing oneself in the bigger picture.
There is usually laughter and often tears and is always fascinating as people open themselves to the truths of thier lives. When the truth is spoken, everyone is touched.
The healing circle is also a venue to learn meditation techniques, to share touch, and from time to time participate in creative expression - eg making prayer beads from natural resins and spices or witnessing original songs that have grown out of someones experiences.
